Table of contents
One of the must-have features of every outreach automation tool such as La Growth Machine is the ability to control and manage how many messages are sent, and when to send them.
Luckily, LGM has developed a feature that allows you to not only play with the number of messages sent to your leads, but also the time at which you send said messages.
And the awesome thing about LGM is that you can set this up for every identity. Each one is independent and you can configure different Working Hours and Limits for each one.
All you need to do is log onto your LGM account and head over to the Identities tab ➡️ Limits & hours.
Working Hours & Timezone
You might be wondering what you need to do about Timezones.
Well… It’s for our international client base of course!
Example 🔍
For example, if your operation is in Budapest and your target audience is in Tokyo, an email sent at 3 PM from Budapest would be delivered at 10 PM in Tokyo—far from the ideal time for engagement.
That’s why our platform enables you to select the time zone you wish to operate in, allowing for adjustments based on your specific needs, whether targeting a different region or while traveling.
After you’ve chosen the timezone that best suits your audience, you can set the “Working hours”, which is the timeframe in which LGM is allowed to send your outreach messages out.
Quick Tip 💡
Usually, I recommend you stay within your audience’s country’s working hours (typically Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm).
However, some of our clients got really creative with this setting:
- A lead gen agency that works with high-end brands found that targeting their consumers after work and on Sundays worked best.
- A recruiter client of ours decided to extend their working hours till 8pm so that their target is done working already.
These are only two examples that I found interesting, I’m sure there are so many more!
Keep in mind that this is an iterative process; start with the standard time then play with different options until you find your sweet spot!
Limitations on actions:
Moreover, you can adjust the limits of the automated actions LGM performs during the working house we just discussed. 👆
These sliders cover all automatable actions on the three channels we cover:
- LinkedIn: Contact Requests, Messages, Profile Visits.
- Email: Number of emails sent.
- Twitter: DM, Like, Tweets, Retweets, Follow, Unfollow.
LinkedIn is usually the one that updates these values the most. It’s the most volatile when it comes to limitations.
However, we’ve created a full guide on the limits imposed by LinkedIn and how to bypass them that we keep updated as the platform updates its algorithm.
