Speakeasy: 6x More Meetings with LGM

Speakeasy: 6x More Meetings with La Growth Machine

Context & Background

Speakeasy is a B2B SaaS platform that helps companies connect, secure, and govern AI agents and MCP servers across their organization. Founded in 2022 and backed by Google Ventures, FPV Ventures, and Quiet Capital ($15M raised to date), their customers are engineering and security teams at companies building with AI.

Bryan Flynn joined as Speakeasy's founding GTM member in 2024, with a background in inside sales and sales ops. When he arrived, the team was already using La Growth Machine alongside Heyreach and Outreach. His job was to make the whole outreach system work.

"A lot of my work was evaluating these tools and figuring out the optimal workflow and how they're going to connect into our systems." - Bryan Flynn

Email was the first channel they dropped. Domain reputation issues kept getting in the way, and the results weren't worth the trouble. LinkedIn was a different story. Even before they had a proper system in place, the social warming and connection request approach was already outperforming everything else.

Over time, as LGM kept adding features, the other tools became redundant.

"I found La Growth Machine to be the best tool. The team kept adding features that were useful to the point that we didn't really need any of the other things. The native HubSpot integration was really huge for connecting into our systems."
- Bryan Flynn

Beyond HubSpot, Speakeasy's outreach stack also includes Clay, Sales Navigator, Slack, Grain, and Notion.

Implementation and Usage

Speakeasy runs pure LinkedIn outreach. Bryan uses Clay for list building and enrichment and Sales Navigator for targeting, then uploads directly into LGM. Every campaign starts with Social Warming steps before the connection request goes out.

Bryan and Laurence, both GTM, run the full operation together: uploading lists into LGM, setting up campaigns, duplicating sequences, and adjusting messaging per identity. Close to 20 LinkedIn identities are connected to LGM, spanning the sales team, the founder, senior engineers, and members of the dev team.

"Sending outreach through our sales leader's La Growth Machine identity gets us much stronger connection rates. People are more likely to accept from him. Same goes for the founder and some of our dev team accounts, those have been super effective too." Bryan Flynn

None of their colleagues have to touch anything. They connect their LinkedIn account to LGM once, with their own login, and that's it. No passwords are shared with colleagues.

The GTM team runs the campaigns on their behalf directly from the LGM interface. The only conversations that appear in the LGM Inbox are those tied to leads activated through LGM campaigns, so the rest of the team's personal LinkedIn messages stay completely private.

"All they have to do is stay okay with it and give us permission. They don't have to do anything else."
- Bryan Flynn

The SDRs step in when a conversation starts. Bryan's team built AI agents using Speakeasy's own product that pull context from La Growth Machine, HubSpot, Grain, and Notion into a dedicated Slack channel. When a reply comes in, the agent drafts an initial message and surfaces everything the SDR needs: previous touchpoints, the angle to take, relevant context about the prospect. The SDR refines it and sends.

"It takes away all the time-consuming work of gathering context. The SDRs can focus on actually writing something that will get a response."
- Bryan Flynn

Results and Impact

Since April 2026, when Speakeasy started scaling their outbound with LGM, booked meetings are up 6x. Twenty LinkedIn identities are running coordinated outreach, managed centrally by Bryan and Laurence, while the SDRs handle the conversations.

"It gives the sales team a lot more power to control what they're doing without having to bug a founder or a marketing ops person every time." - Bryan Flynn

Looking ahead, Bryan is planning to connect La Growth Machine's MCP server directly into Speakeasy's AI infrastructure to run analysis on what's driving results: which message types are working, which audience segments are responding, and which timing patterns are converting. All of Speakeasy's outreach already lives in LGM. The data is there.

"I'd love to use AI to do analysis from a higher level. What's working, what's not, is there commonality in the good feedback we're getting from certain types of people with certain types of messaging? That would be super powerful."
