I’ve already gone through why LinkedIn Voice Messages are one the most underrated features in my article Capture Candidates’ Attention with Voice Messages.

But that one was aimed more at recruiters and shows how it humanizes their outreach, which helps increase the personability of their outreach process. At first, I thought that would be the most adapted use case.

Now, after two years of rigorous testing and gathering insights from our clients, it’s become clear: Voice Messages are simply a must-have for everyone!

La Growth Machine stands alone as the sole platform capable of both automating and personalizing voice messages on a grand scale, courtesy of our groundbreaking LGM Voice AI technology.

To illustrate the impact of this feature, I’ll use this article to analyze a multi-channel sequence on LGM, showcasing the effectiveness of LinkedIn voice messages.

Let’s go! 👇

Two types of LinkedIn Voice automations:

With LGM, you can now automate the sending of LinkedIn voice messages, be it:

  • A simple voice message that doesn’t involve any personalization variables or placeholders that you use to customize the message.
    Placeholders can be used for your lead’s details or your own (useful for people who outsource their outbound automation processes).
  • A voice message with a personalized introduction: You choose an introduction and a custom placeholder, and the AI generates the audio with your own voice. Then you simply add the rest of your message as a simple voice. Then all you have to do is record the rest of your voice message, and the two tracks will be linked to generate a personalized voice message for each lead! 👇Here are the variables you can use in your introduction:
  • {{firstname}}
  • {{lastname}}
  • {{gender}}

Launching a campaign with AI LinkedIn Voice Messages:

Now that you have a grasp on what LGM offers, let me show you a real-life campaign example that utilizes Voice Messages to perfection.

The famous sequence:

Here’s a video explaining everything behind the campaign:

But if you want to read, here you go! It’s really not that complicated:

  • Start with a Connection Request, and of course, as per usual, I add a LinkedIn note:

Hello {{firstname}}
I’ve just joined LGM as a Community Builder and I’m working on a new community of outreach experts. I think your insights will be invaluable in shaping it in your image :)

Looking forward to hearing from you! 🙂

(217 characters)

  • Once they accept me, I send my Voice Note, here’s the transcript:

Thank you for accepting my request :) As I told you, I’m committed to building the LGM community with experts such as yourself. I sincerely think your contribution would be precious!

The idea is to understand your needs to shape a community that truly brings you true value and in which you feel completely at ease.

In any case, I’d really like to meet you, and for me I use this time to inspire myself and exchange with experts and top voices such as yourself!

So hey, I hope we can manage to organize this soon, I’ll send you my calendly right now so you can choose the timeslot that works best for you!

  • The voice note is immediately followed by a LinkedIn message that’s just my Calendly link.
  • When all else fails, I fall back to Email to fully utilize the multi-channel capabilities of LGM! The email itself is similar to the previous messages:

Subject: Let’s build a community of experts together! 🥳

Hi {{firstname}},

I don’t know if you saw my little message on LinkedIn?

I’m laying the foundations for the future community of outreach experts, and I’d love to hear your insights. That way, I can shape a community that will bring you value and meet your needs.

Do you think you could spare me a quick 30 minutes in the days and weeks to come?
Here’s my calendly: {{link}}

I look forward to getting to know you and co-constructing with you! 🙂

Final Thoughts:

Whether you’re in sales, growth, or recruiting, I’m sure you can find a place for LinkedIn Voice Messages in your outreach strategy!

In this article, I covered a very basic example of market research. But I encourage you to take it as a template and apply it to your own use case.

Also don’t be afraid to play with the copywriting, the only piece of advice you need to abide by is this:

  • Remain direct and straightforward. Explain what you need from the lead, what you bring to the table, and the value you will add to their life.

Other than that, feel free to A/B different styles of copywriting, this truly depends on the business itself! But then again, that’s what LGM is all about; Test-Analyze-Reiterate.😏
